Cedar Landscape Inc. began in the mid-1970’s when Mike Grace became involved with several partners in forming a residential landscape maintenance company. Under this ownership the company grew to a client base of approximately 200 accounts.

In 1980 this partnership dissolved and the business was sold to Stan Grace, Mike’s father. Mike and his brother, Dan, took over the day-to-day running of the business while Stan handled the

financial duties. In 1982, the business was moved to a small commercial location. Mike obtained his Landscape Contractors License and the company began installing commercial landscape projects.

The company continued to grow. In 1984, a five-acre nursery was purchased and Cedar Landscape Inc. moved to this location. As both businesses continued to grow, an additional five acres of adjacent land was purchased and developed into a nursery.

Always utilizing the latest computer technologies for design, take-offs, estimating, job costing, purchasing, and accounting, Cedar Landscape Inc. and the nursery, have grown steadily for over 25 years.
